Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in Power Electronics. • Strong skills in embedded firmware development. • Solid knowledge of real-time control, digital signal processing and digital control. • Familiarity with power electronics control modeling by using PSIM simulation tool. • Experience with development tools such as TI code composer and Lattice diamond. • Experience with microcontroller and DSP, C and assembly programming skill is required. • Experience with FPGA/CPLD，VHDL programming skill is required. We are seeking an individual for the position of Power Electronics Firmware Designer. The applicant is responsible for firmware design and development, engineering and testing of prototypes and products for the next generation of power conversion, for example solar power inverter and EV power converter etc. The applicant will have the following responsibilities: • Architect and design efficient and robust control platform for power electronics products. • Development of real-time control embedded firmware based on designed control architecture. • Work with power electronics hardware engineers to design schematics and PCB layout with control focus. • Develop both product level and system level firmware to meet user experience requirements. • Develop bench test software for testing embedded firmware. • Perform firmware verification and validation, correct deficiencies as needed, and write technical reports.
