Skills and qualifications You have a relevant experience from reliability engineering and/or 3rd party certification of industrial or marine equipment. Personal experience from ISO9001, CE-marking, PED 2014/68/EU is qualifying. Having worked with harsh environments such as offshore, mining or other challenging sectors is a plus. You have a broad technical knowledge and genuine interest in the different aspects of machinery and reliability. Knowledge of drive train technology, hydrodynamics, pneumatics, structural optimization or statistical reliability methods is qualifying. You may have a degree in mechanical engineering, physics, mathematical statistics or related disciplines. Your personality, experience and interest in the field is the most important. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written. Responsibilities Manage CorPower certification activities to deliver targeted certification and warranty provisions on agreed schedule and budget Be our main interface to third party certification bodies Be our internal reference to standards and certification, guiding the engineering team on applicable standards and product requirements from certification perspective Structure engineering documentation to comply with certification and warranty needs Ensure traceability of requirements and test cases from initial concept design to verified and certified product Lead FMECA, failure mode, effects and criticality analysis for modules and system Review and propose design concepts and component choice to improve device reliability, availability and design life while reducing project risks Be the primary owner of reliability models and reliability methods across the company Represent CorPower in collaborative projects involving certification and reliability Provide technical documentation and communicate with customers and partners with focus on reliability and certification Working with suppliers to ensure compliance to relevant standards in terms of material certificates, methods and test procedures CorPower Ocean is a fast-growing ocean energy company. We have developed a compact high-efficiency Wave Energy Converter (WEC) inspired by the pumping principles of the human heart. The unique concept offers five times more energy per ton of device compared to previously known technology, and the company can be considered as a sector leader. We are currently finalizing our Stage 3 pilot program taking our latest Wave Energy Converter through ocean testing on Orkney.
