As an alternative, you could also have experience from working commercially in product development or manufacturing environment. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of software in complex systems. THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES Purchasing & Supplier Management (P&SM) is a function within Volvo Construction Equipment with approximately 400 employees globally. Our responsibility covers the entire supply chain from product development to aftermarket and development of the existing supplier base to achieve a world-class supply chain. In our facilities we offer a well-developed IT environment with newly renovated activity-based premises. P&SM Eskilstuna is looking for a Buyer of Electrical and Electronics parts. At P&SM today, we are a team of four buyers who work within the E&E commodity. P&SM is an international organization which means that we have daily contact with suppliers both in Sweden and on the global market. We have a responsibility to deliver the entire supply chain of electronic components to our eight factories in Europe. ROLE DESCRIPTION As Buyer you are communicating extensively with both internal and external resources. Further on, you have to be able to present your ideas in a business driven way, be actionable and cooperate with your colleagues. At Volvo CE we work together to further develop our employees skills. You will also participate as purchasing representative in product development projects for your assigned product portfolio.
