Profile: At least 5 years working experience in the area of Production Development or related Production activities within automotive development Strategic approach with customer focus and the ability to work cross functionally Drive to improve our way of working with strong implementation skills Able to lead team works and to be part of team works. Plus with Project management experience. Able to visualize clearly what the ideal production system is. Able to understand operating principles and establish correct operating standards clearly. Able to make a good presentation simply and clearly so that everybody can understand it. Able to establish clear decision criteria by figures. Knowledge on Quality Tools, e.g: Process Flows & Maps, 5G´s / 5W + 2H, Root Cause Analysis, Standardization / 5S, Kaizen etc. Have challenging and pioneering spirits Graduation/Master Degree in Engineering Knowledge in AB Volvo production system is a plus Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written. Remanufacturing is part of Volvo Group Trucks Operations, Powertrain Production. We are responsible for Remanufacturing of Engines, Gearboxes and others remanufactured components and production of low volume based products for the Volvo Group. We have remanufacturing sites in Sweden, France, US, Brazil, India, China and Japan. The Technical Department, in Flen Factory, has the overall responsibility to deliver the production process and Product information to our own site but also to others sites in cooperation with our network. Also we are responsible for the factory maintenance. We are organized in three subgroups: production development, Product Preparation and Maintenance. The job of the Production Engineer, is to mainly deliver Production Process, Tools and Equipment and the production lay out, according to the World class manufacturing principles, driving improvements and standardizations. Works with strong cooperation with the production teams and also with the colleagues within the Technical department.
