About this role
We are looking for a product developer to join our dedicated men’s wear development team. As a product developer you will be responsible for the product development process; from technical drawing through to the sales samples being delivered to the showrooms for designated product groups. This role requires the ability to take initiative and have an action-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving. The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic, no day is ever the same. This position is based at Acne Studios headquarter in Stockholm but will require travelling. Tasks will include, but not be limited to • Attend and take notes in development and production fittings, provide proactive and focused input to ensure further production processes run smoothly • Propose production prices to product manager for price negotiations • Responsible for the product data input and continuous updates in the PLM system • Maintain close collaboration with design, fabric and pattern teams • Responsible for accurate product and timely delivery of sampling • Maintaining strong collaboration with vendors including on-site visits when necessary Qualifications • Academic degree, from business school and/or textile education • Minimum 4 years experience in a product assistant or development role • Highly proficient in MS Office applications - particularly Excel • Excellent written and spoken English skills • Detail-oriented with strong follow through • Good knowledge of quality- and development processes and high-end garment construction
