Role Summary: As European Payroll & Benefits Delivery Leader, you will own for GE Healthcare the stand up and delivery of Pay & Benefits Administration processes for Europe as GE Healthcare works to become a standalone company. Essential Responsibilities: The successful candidate will play a critical role in our work to stand up by ensuring the best possible outcomes for our employees as we create our future and will work wing-to-wing with leadership, partners and stakeholders building solutions focused on employee experience, consistent and compliant outcomes, and process clarity and simplicity. • Build and lead a team to deliver payroll and benefits administration for 31 countries & ~15,000 employees • Ensure that country stand ups are executed to plan ensuring the highest possible quality • Partner with Sourcing to deliver necessary contracting by driving scope and operational considerations. Ensure that governance models are in place and operational. • Manage operational budget and meet budget requirements and challenges. • Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations (tax, labor, etc.) by jurisdiction. • Maintain sound internal controls & records retention to comply with legal requirements & policy. • Ensure protection of Personally Identifiable Information and other confidential information adhering to GDPR. • Work wing-to-wing with key stakeholders to establish process excellence standards including Service Level Agreements and scope of services. • Ensure positive internal relationships through timely communication of activities and issues. • Engage externally to benchmark, understand best practices and obtain insights into the industry to improve employee experience, delivery and speed. • Define and manage operational payroll & benefits administration controllership requirements and work across the globe as country standups occur to ensure that controllership requirements are met. • Define and manage payroll and benefits administration governance requirements and processes to ensure proper function and oversight of these critical processes. Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree REQUIRED, MS/MBA a plus. • Language requirements: English, other European languages advantageous • Willing to travel 10-25%• Knowledge of applicable country rules and laws • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-European payroll and benefits delivery • Experienced professional with 5-10 years of Payroll & Benefits leadership experience. • Strong operational experience with proven results • Experience with HR systems and processes. • Experience successfully managing outsourced partners. • Proven team leadership experience and successful record building an effective team. • Strong project management and change management experience and skills. • Strong negotiation & relationship skills with ability to communicate & influence at all levels. • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities & deliver in a consistent & timely manner
