Experience & qualifications •University graduate in technical discipline and/or MBA equivalent •10 + years of experience of management in the stated fields (production/technical construction) •Experience of change management •Experience of modelling new operational structures and bringing them into action. •Excellent English & Swedish written & verbal. Tomal has had a strong growth and has now decided to appoint a new position as COO. This means that you have full responsibility for construction and production at the plant in Vessigebro. The position involves taking part in an exciting changeover journey where increased productivity, lean and continuously customer focus are important components. You will be responsible for about 50 people and report to the Global COO in Germany. You work with the MD of Tomal and the local management team. Main tasks; •Set and deliver the longterm strategy for best in-class-operations for technical department and production. •Initiate and direct performance and productivity improvement initiatives within the company´s manufacturing to deliver on commitments in quality, ontime customer delivery & productivity •Develop and implement strategies to maximize sustainable competitive position, productivity gains, meet customer objectives and deliver best-in-class-operational metrics •Leading through vision & values; and through action rather than reaction. •The ability to interact at all levels, in order to bring an understanding of technical best practice and an ability to create an effective operating environment. Tomal AB is an engineering company that manufactures and sells customized dosing plants. They are currently 75 employees. The company is one of the leading in the industry with deliveries to municipalities and industries. 70% of deliveries are exported. Their facility is located in Vessigebro, just outside Falkenberg. www.tomal.se
