Experience from heavy vehicles is preferred combined with strong analytic skills. We use beside the standard office programs also programs and tools such as TechTool, CANalyzer, CAN/LIN interfaces and other tools, experience in communication systems for motor vehicles is considered as an additional qualification. You are used to travel alone, within and outside Europe. Language Fluent English, both in writing and verbal is required. We deliver professional support and solutions to technical product related problems of different complexity. We also make investigations and report back quality problems to our design departments. We are now looking for a Product Specialist within Engine & EATS. The challenge: Each Product Specialist at Global Technical Service has its own assigned area of responsibility, your area will be Engine, EATS & surrounding systems controlled by the Engine Management System for all engines and emission levels. You will, for instance, perform: Engine & EATS diagnostics support Fault tracing in Engine & EATS vehicle systems Problem solving Reporting findings back for improvements and quality assurance As Product Specialist you will, globally, work with all concerns that might occur within your area. You will be the communicating link for our Market Clusters and Importers to different departments within Volvo Trucks and Bus organisations. Location is Gothenburg but the job involves frequent travelling, sometimes with short notice. A majority of the time is spent at the office where you work with computer based support systems, mail and phone, as well as participating in different forums. Need more information?
