Who we are The group “Cooling & HVAC” within the Chassis & Driveline Department is divided into two Technical Areas: Cooling System and HVAC system. Our team is responsibility to secure the complete Cooling system and HVAC system, over time, within the given geometry, cost, quality as well as other requirements and features. The responsibility includes ownership of global technology strategies for our areas, as well as the complete development from advanced engineering to maintenance of parts, systems and functions introduced on the Volvo Buses around the world. Approx. 17 co-workers are engaged in the group. The department and the group have a platform responsibility globally so you will co-operate with our other sites in India, Poland, Mexico and Brazil. Travelling to our sites and suppliers will occur Work Description We are now looking for a Design Engineer that also will have the component responsibility for components and sub-system to the hydraulic fan drive system. You have a capacity to work individually or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables. You will lead mechanical design engineering activities in the Cooling system area. You will play an active role in the delivery in projects, maintenance and quality journals. Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release. Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team.
