About the role

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support that empowers individuals to:

Live independently and manage their tenancyImprove daily living skills such as budgeting and self-careBuild confidence and make informed life choicesMaintain wellbeing and positive routines You’ll work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies while ensuring safe, high-quality care.

What you’ll do

Deliver tailored, face-to-face mental health supportSupport individuals with tenancy management and daily living skillsPromote independence, wellbeing, and recovery journeysComplete risk assessments and support plansAdminister medication and follow safeguarding proceduresMaintain accurate records using IT systems

About the service

The service offers supported living for up to 2–4 years, helping people build the skills and confidence to move on. We also provide outreach support to individuals living in their own homes in and around Mansfield.

This is a 24-hour service, operating 7 days a week. Shifts include:

7:00am – 2:30pm2:30pm – 10:00pm10:00pm – 7:00am Weekend availability is essential. The project is accessible via public transport, but you’ll need to be able to get to the site for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
