About this role
•Academic degree in logistics, science, engineering or business. •1-3 years’ experience in business planning or similar role. •Skilled at preparing reports and organizing workflow. •Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint. •Familiarity of planning tools. •Arkieva knowledge is preferred. •Good command of the English language, both oral and in writing. •Strong communication skills, especially with international teams. •Ability to work in a fast paced environment. •Network in an international environment with cross functional teams to get up-to date input on upcoming orders and customers’ forecasts including regional sales, sales support and marketing functions. •Get clarity and understanding of each customer’s demands and needs for on-time manufacture. •Responsible for compiling, consolidating and analyzing the input of data required for the demand forecasting process. •Prepare regional and global forecasts under standardized format used in the company. •Present the resulting demand to Sales and Marketing, Demand and Supply planners, Business •Managers and other teams in the company. •Interact with the Global demand fuction for updates and evaluate potential new tools that are useful for the business. •Follow appropriate KPIs and identify gaps but also areas that can positively affect the company’s financial outcome. We are looking for a Demand Planner for our Fine Chemicals and Separation Products businesses. If you enjoy working in an international environment with cross functional teams and tasks like preparing forecasts and interacting with supply, sales and marketing, this is the place for you. You will have an important role in our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the company. You will be communicating frequently with all regions to get clarity on customers’ needs to facilitate the forecasting and demand planning process of all goods offered by our products. This position involves compiling and consolidating the demand requirements worldwide for timely production and delivery of our products. These activities help us balance supply and demand, close gaps between these two, increase utilization flexibility in our plants as well as improve the service towards our customers.
