Volvo Group IT Infrastructure & Onsite Services Service Management IT Architect, Integration, Application Infrastructure Volvo Group IT Group IT governs the overall Process and IT efficiency within the Group. The function drives the usage of common processes, common IT systems and IT infrastructures. Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS) Infrastructure & Onsite Services is in charge of all Volvo Group IT infrastructure services. As the majority of these services are delivered by a partner, the mission is focused at governing and controlling this partner, as well as managing the remaining IT infrastructure delivery teams in Volvo. We are now looking for one IT Architect for Integration, Application Infrastructure In this role you will be reporting to the Director Application Infrastructure within Volvo Group IT/ Infrastructure & Onsite Services / Service Management. The Application Infrastructure Portfolio includes all infrastructure services enabling and supporting business applications. The Application Infrastructure portfolio is divided into two sub-portfolios: The Application Hosting sub-portfolio - including on premise, hybrid cloud and public cloud, for all technical platforms used by the Volvo Group The Data and Information sub-portfolio - including platforms for integration services, business intelligence, big data and analytics including artificial intelligence and machine learning This IT Architect role will be located in the Data & Information sub-portfolio working within the Integration area (A2A and B2B) Role mission & context: In this role you will have the responsibility for the architecture of Volvo Group Application Infrastructure. In close relationship with the partner(s) in charge of the detailed technical architecture, you will identify, design and enforce architectural choices that can support Volvo long term strategy, while on the other hand preventing architectural choices that can be an obstacle to Volvo long term strategy. You will be part of a team where you manage the Integration infrastructure service portfolio. You will also work closely with other units within Volvo Group such as Solution Delivery units, CIO Office and Application method units.
