Required Master’s degree in electronics / computer engineering or equivalent education Experience from verification in distributed embedded system Well spoken and written English Understanding of the agile priciples ISTQB certification Nice to have Volvo AB experience Relevant experience in verification tool chains (e.g Vector CAN tools, CANoe). THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES Our group is responsible for the End-to-end verification and maintenance of Volvo and Renault Connectivity and entertainment platform. The group consists of 4 teams responsible for separate products with several different functions in each team. The teams are multinational and English is commonly used at the office. The teams are responsible for planning, designing and executing test cases to find bugs and determine overall quality of the products we are releasing. In vehicle connectivity we work with quick releases to customer vehicles and get very quick feedback if something is not correct. Our teams are working according to agile principles and follow the safe framework. A lot of communication and sync is needed to make this work with project, development teams and back office functions. We believe in continuous improvement and experiment to find best solution. Between us there is an open attitude and willingness to learn from each other. ROLE DESCRIPTION Perform verification on full system level from truck to Back office Develop and improve test methods and tools Perform exploratory testing Improve test environment and hands-on work with test rigs Develop automatic tests Document test methods Own the verification responsibility for a couple of E2E function ARE WE THE PERFECT MATCH?
