Knowledge and abilities needed The position requires very high analytical and problem solving skills. We use advanced software to do the analysis, requiring some familiarity with more advanced analysis or programming. The job also requires high communication skills and it is important to be able to collaborate easily with members of the project teams as well as together with other analysts. It is also important to be engaged and driven, and have the ability to take complex tasks and break it down and deliver it. It is also necessary to have an improvement mindset and a “can do” attitude. We are looking for a Purchasing Analyst that will provide high end analysis and calculations in logistics sourcing projects and drive internal development activities and projects in Logistics Purchasing. Mission The Purchasing Analyst belong to the Logistics Purchasing Development team and work with analysis and development for Logistics Purchasing. As a Purchasing Analyst, you will provide analysis and calculations in logistics sourcing projects, in close cooperation with the project manager and regional purchasers. The aim of the Purchasing Analyst group is to provide high-end analysis work to maximize the project deliveries. You will also be driving internal development activities/projects, with increasing responsibility over time. The aim of these activities/projects is to increase the efficiency and quality of how we work in the Logistics Purchasing function. In summary, you will have an important role to deliver analysis and reports and to contribute to the Logistics Purchasing function’s efficiency, quality and ultimately success.
