About this role

The Technical Sales Support Manager will drive and support the successful introduction of Smart Eyes technology of Driver Monitoring and Interior sensing into Automotive applications and be the prime technical interface for Customers and Partners. Reporting to: Vice President, Sales for Applied Solution *To be key point of contact for clients and to engage in both pre and post sales technical discussions and hands on demonstrations. *Bring experience and technical expertise whilst managing technical customer meetings, demo system installations and workshops *Technical point of contact for Customers and Partners. Working closely with Customers and Partners to define the wanted DMS solution and support in technical discussions and evaluations. *Technical lead in tender and quotation processes. *Translate the product and solution characteristics into customer benefits, communicate technical strategies and roadmaps, present and demonstrate new and experimental products, features and functionalities. *Liaise and collaborate across departments, act as the extended arm of Smart Eyes leading technical team. *Collect customer feedback and market research and keep up to date with market development and competitors. *Attend trade shows, conferences and other marketing events to promote Smart Eyes technology. *Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team. Smart Eye AB has global reach so travel will be required as part of the role. Skills & Requirements *University degree within Engineering context. *5+ years of experience from technical support roles *Passion for exploring new technology in different applications *Demonstrated success as part of a Sales team for global OEM customers. *Ability to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly *A positive, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial attitude and a willingness to work closely with other functions with Smart Eye to achieve the growth. *Strong analytical, creative skills. Independent, Self-driven and Curious. *Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Swedish and English. Other languages are a merit.
