As Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the controls system and electrical design in our customer projects. This is a broad role, where you will take part from the beginning of the project until a solution has been delivered to the customer, together with colleagues in sales, application and mechanical engineering. You will create the electrical specification, and a colleague will then take care of the electrical design. You will work in close cooperation with end-customers within the pulp and paper industry, ensuring excellent functionality and service. You will be located at our global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Main activities and responsibilities • PLC-programming (Siemens, Rockwell) • HMI design (Siemens, Rockwell) • Harmonization of factory product flow • Commissioning and startup of equipment at customer site • Responsibility for electrical concept and design in customer projects • Support in sales and quoting Who are you? • At least 1 - 2 years of Experience in PLC-programming, preferably in Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley • Fluent in English, both written and spoken • Ability to travel mainly in Europe 1 - 2 times/month • B.Sc. in Engineering is meritorious, or similar in work experience • Good understanding and interest for electrical design is meritorious • Experience of industrial robotics solutions is a plus (ABB, Fanuc, etc.) • As a person we see that you are a creative problem solver who is a self-starter with the ability to handle pressure in a good way Working at FlexLink As a part of the dynamic and inspiring work environment at Flexlink, you have every opportunity to grow – in all aspects.
