Responsibilities: Collaborate with local/regional/global counterparts and internal stakeholders in order to get the best possible results for Volvo in terms of Cost, Quality, Delivery, Features, Technology while ensuring Volvo’s long-term multifaceted Sustainability and managing Risks (QDCFTSR) Strengthening Volvo’s competitive advantage by understanding the business needs and the supplier market Manage and develop the existing supplier base, using categorization, segmentation, continuous performance evaluation etc as well as map and identify new suppliers in order to establish and maintain the appropriate levels of relationship with key suppliers Execute all sourcing activities to the defined project timelines and approved sourcing strategies. Issue RFQ’s, negotiate an optimal cost level for areas of responsibility and carry out contract negotiations and management Contribute to regional KPI target fulfillment Interact as key contact with the stakeholders.
