For success in this position we believe you have a Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in engineering. You have a few years of experience from working as an Inside Sales Engineer and experience with quote and order handling in various sales support systems. This position requires fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. It’s considered as a merit if you have experience from the Marine industry. You are passionate about sales and communication and interpersonal skills are some of your characteristic strengths. Providing first class support and clever solutions to the customers motivates you. As an Inside Sales Engineer you assist our customers by identifying the best solutions for their application and operational needs. You offer and sell complete product solutions and provide our customers with commercial and technical support, always aiming to provide excellent customer service. You have a close cooperation with peers, Outside Sales, Service Engineers, Product Managers and Business Managers. The Customer Care organization in Marine Sweden consists of Spare Parts Sales, Upgrade Sales and Inside Sales support. The organization utilizes resources in Manila for administrative support. Responsibilities • Qualify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customer’s application and operational needs • Prepare customer quotations that are on time, technically accurate, commercially verified - always offering the best all-round solution • Follow-up on quotations with customers as agreed with Outside Sales • Negotiate sales orders within agreed delegation of authority • Ensure purchase orders are commercially complete and accurate before processing for order entry • Provide advice on technical solutions to customers and colleagues • Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, etc. • Provide after-sales service to customers • Attend customer meetings, including customer site visits • Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge • Explore opportunities for selling additional products and/or services. • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, internal and external • Perform in accordance with the relevant Emerson procedures like ethics and trade compliance You will find us in our Innovation center in Mölnlycke, about 10 minutes from Gothenburg city with good commuting possibilities.
