The Supplier Quality & Delivery department, belonging to Group Trucks Purchasing, is driving the global supplier base towards premium automotive quality standards. Then this might be just the perfect role for you. Position Description As Technical specialist you will report to TSE Director within SQ&D. You will be part of the global team of technical specialists in GTP. You will drive, maintain and develop a network of auditors to be able to support all regions within GTP in the SW field. You also will be part of the TSE team and drive synergies with other technology areas way of working. Be subject matter expert in securing quality for bought SW. You will as well have a close cooperation with the EE specialist since two areas very much connected. As a specialist you need to take Main responsibilities Run on site audits at suppliers to review suppliers ability to develop SW to Volvo. Train and maintain the network of auditors to keep them calibrated. Continue to develop the tools and requirements to follow continues moving the project requirements and business environment within SW. Run the SW network meeting to share experience and knowledge within SW Be an active counterpart during building of strategic business plan and in the sourcing phase in SW area. Present report into identified forum and stakeholders Develop our suppliers with follow up of gaps identified in the audits.
