Qualifications: You have a M.Sc. in Mechatronic, Control engineering, Electronics or similar Good knowledge in Physics, Mechatronic, Mechanical engineering, Control engineering, Vehicle dynamics, System modelling, Functional requirements and Electronics Good understanding of system development of embedded real time systems Good understanding of model based development Experience of software development within Matlab environment Experience of functional development according to ISO26262 Knowledge about AUTOSAR architecture and development Analytical Ability to analyze and solve complex problems Communication and presenting skills both in text and verbally Sense of responsibility Business and customer oriented In addition, you are familiar with tools such as Simulink, Matlab, CANalyzer as well as rapid prototyping and systems development principles. Since we often face mechanical challenges, it would be beneficial that you like mechanical problem solving. Knowledge in Volvo Tools and C-driving license are advantages. As a person you are driven, innovative and you have a passion for problem solving. You are open-minded and outgoing. Group BF71610, “Braking & Suspension Control systems” is a group within “Chassis and Vehicle Dynamics Engineering” that is responsible for the development of brake and air suspension control systems for all trucks brands within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. The group is part of a global network and work in close cooperation with other groups on other sites. Our group is also highly involved in the development towards autonomous vehicles where one of the challenges is to ensure fail-operational capabilities of the vehicle dynamics control systems. This includes development of a Vehicle Motion Management with redundancy capability for the safety related control systems of braking and steering. We are now looking for a new function developer. Position description: You will be part of the team in charge of ensuring fail-operational capabilities of the vehicle dynamics control systems.
