You will be a key player in building the new Solution Delivery Unit MAS/DCL from start. You will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders inside as well as outside IT services, delivering cutting edge services in line with the Volvo Group Strategy. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group´s IT solutions and IT projects within the area of MAS/DCL are managed in an optimal way. We are now looking for a Solution Leader for IO RMS In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager Portals Role mission & context As Solution Leader, you are the main contact person for the key users, Process Manager (level 2 or 3), or equivalent. You cooperates closely with the SDU Team Leader. You will work based on terms, conditions and commitments for solution deliveries and delegated responsibilities established and documented and formally introduced by the Delivery Manager. Responsibilities and Powers Contributes to the establishment of the Solution Delivery Plan Responsible for defining and reviewing the level of business criticality for the solution in cooperation with process managers in the business Secure that the Solution delivery plan is aligned with the level of business criticality for the solution Secure solution competence for functional application support Planning, organizing, reporting and follow up on the assignment Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed Propose needed service level targets (SLA) Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities Contribute to the capacity planning for the solution delivery When applicable participate in new development Manage the complete training material and its execution for the solution Secure user acceptance test Sets the requirements for and approves hand over from projects to maintenance Secure continuity management for the solution Manage application access based on directives defined by business requirements Manage quality assurance of end user support Manage the Key User network in collaboration with the BPD Prioritize requirements from Key User Network Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc. Ensure execution of decided requirement requests for the solution Act as product owner Responsible for working proactively and with continuous improvements Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives and Guidelines Secure alignment to governance directives, best practices, ITS business processes and implement recommended tools and methods (e.g. IS-GDP, SMP and VPS4IT) Responsible for sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues by participating in Solution Leader community Communicate EN estimates to the BSPM, Process Manager or equivalent For more information please contact Jack Langgaard, Delivery Manager, +46 31 3231043 The Volvo Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine and industrial engines under the leading brands Volvo, Renault Trucks, Mack, UD Trucks, Eicher, SDLG, Terex Trucks, Prevost, Nova Bus, UD Bus and Volvo Penta.
