Tech you’ll master: With us at Ericsson Packet Core you’ll be part of the next step in our development of our products. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. All of this in a virtual deployment using containers. For this you will learn to master cutting edge technology in IP networks, distributed real time embedded systems. The position: We are now looking for a System manager to create system solutions by defining use cases, functions and protocols to be implemented into our world class products (systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: standardization work, requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, integration, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. We organize in teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work. You will work closely with the product owner community and together you will discuss different solutions. The position offers travels and interaction with our customers and competitors. Responsibilities: You will drive strategic technical leadership Drive pre-studies Support Q&A activities in your competence area Be a member in the system management community Work closely with our product owners; be involved in early technical discussions Take responsibility for system management artifacts. Qualifications: You are a curious person with a holistic view that likes to work with challenging tasks where decisions often need to be taken based on information from different stakeholders and investigations. You enjoy working at the forefront with new technologies and understand that business decisions sometimes impact the technical solution. You manage to drive your work tasks independently. You are a team player with a positive “can-do” attitude. Experience as a team leader is beneficial. MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge Proficient in English You are interested in learning NEW things and dare to come up with own ideas on how to do things You are very interested in understanding the BIG picture and enjoy informing others about your findings You have focus and ambition to understand customer needs You take pride in understanding the whole product and its environment Highly developed knowledge sharing & collaboration skills Good Communication Skills
