Deep knowledge and extensive experience from with SAS tools as Visual Analytics and Enterprise Guide Experience from and strong competence in data visualization Experience from analytics, warranty and/or aftermarket area Truck product knowledge Volvo system and process knowledge Fluent in English, both verbal and written Technical university degree or equivalent knowledge based on experience Statistical methods knowledge Are you a driven person who is interested to contribute in our work to take the analysis within the Warranty area to the next level? Today our data warehouse, called QRAFT, holds a comprehensive amount of Warranty data that we extract from sources as for instance UCHP and VDA. Using our powerful suite of SAS tools we perform everything from short ad-hoc explorations to deeper and longer-term analyses, aimed to generate insights and solve challenging analytical problems. Furthermore we have used SAS Visual Analytics to develop an impressive flora of follow-up reports covering the whole Warranty process, reports which are used globally by almost 300 users within Volvo Trucks. Now we are facing a time filled with new opportunities within the Warranty analysis area. We are identifying, exploring and adding new data sources, with for example fault codes and vehicle log data, which will give us possibilities to add new information to our analyses. We also want to develop how we use the data we have in, and add to, our QRAFT data warehouse. With use of statistical methods and development and usage of for example machine learning techniques, we want to unleash the value of our data and improve performance within the Warranty process. To maintain and develop our current analysis environment, and for exploring new ways for how to use our data, we are now looking for a Warranty analyst that with skills, personality and engagement can help us fulfill our ambitions. About us The Warranty Policies and Governance is a team of seven persons that are responsible for the Warranty Rules, Warranty Process and Warranty Reports for Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks. Within the Warranty area we are working in close connection with the Volvo Trucks Sales Areas and with other Business Areas in the Volvo Group. Role description As Warranty analyst you will work with data mainly from our QRAFT data warehouse to create insights and identify business opportunities as well as supporting headquarter, sales areas and markets with various analyses and reports to improve performance within the Warranty area. Maintain, develop and implement Warranty reports Use Warranty data to perform analyses and respond to requests of various complexity Drive state of the art warranty analysis. Develop and find use of analytical methods, including machine learning and statistical approaches Support our users and contribute with training and training material within our area Specify CR business requirements on IS/IT tools and solutions within our area Support IT during the CR process and with solving QRAFT related issues Contribute and support in Warranty related IT projects If you feel that this interesting position is something for you, don’t hesitate to send us your application.
