Basic Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or relevant equivalent work experience •At least 3 years of people management work experience •At least 2 years managing the Engagement Management group •Completed 2 projects within the last 3 years using the Consulting Framework Methodology •At least 5 years of health care information technology (HCIT) work experience implementing Cerner Millennium Preferred Qualifications: •At least 5 years of project management work experience implementing Cerner Millennium. •Hold a certified qualification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or from a Project Management Institute (PMI) •Project Management Professional Certification Expectations: •Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations •Ability and willing to travel up to 60% At Cerner we’re working at the intersection of health and technology. As a Manager, Consulting Manager you’ll oversee the execution of technology solutions projects in professional services. You’ll communicate and develop a plan to execute the vision and strategy of their team. Responsibilities including ensuring the success of the client implementation meeting expectations, timelines and budgets, as well as holding responsibility for financial and operational metrics for the team. You’ll work to provide effective situational leadership for escalations and operational issues, and hold responsibility for development, growth and quality of professional services while also participating in resource management and planning. As a Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing routing associate situations and directing the work efforts and results of a team of associates. This includes developing team goals and managing them for results, developing associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development training while promoting diversity and a respectful work environment.
