Job SummaryThis position is located at Fort Sill Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Aquatics. This is a Regular Part Time position (20hours) with eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: - American Red Cross "Lifeguard" certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification. - American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer" (CPR-Pro) certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates (CPR) Certification.
Major DutiesPerforms lifeguarding duties and limited management functions by directing the operation of the pool and the work of assigned lifeguards.Ensures the safe operation of the pool, it's filtration system, water balance, pool chemistry and performs water test.Ensures that safety rules are followed and is responsible for teaching aquatic swimming and water survival training.Keeps accurate records and adequate supplies.
