Job SummaryYou will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Inactive Ships Management Office, Comptroller Department of NAVSEA INACTIVE SHIPS MANAGEMENT.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-01 (GS-04 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management, and providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support an organization's programs and administrative operations. Major DutiesYou will perform work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.You will review and evaluate budget requests, and report on obligations and expenditures.You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.You will perform various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and execution of the Expense Operating Budget (EOB), Centrally Managed Program (CMP), Civilian Personnel Payroll (CIVPERS) and Other Customer Funds (OCF).You will assist in the development, formulation and justification of the annual EOB, CMP, CIVPERS program budget for Inactive Ships.You will create funding documents, perform research for tri-annual reviews, correct accounting errors, and reconcile assigned accounts monthly.You will monitor and track requirements and account balances to ensure adequate funding is available and recommend realignment when adjustments are needed.
