The purpose of the role
The Department of Economics, within the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy, invites applications for two Assistant Professor in Economics positions, to commence on 3rd August 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise and mentor students, and contribute to an engaging, supportive and intellectually stimulating learning environment. They will play an active role in curriculum development and engage in high-quality research, publishing in leading academic journals and contributing to wider academic and policy debates through collaboration, workshops and conferences.
