Your character – A proactive EHS expert with great people skills and a coaching approach We are looking for someone with a relevant degree and extensive experience from leading and driving EHS-matters on an overall level. You have extensive knowledge of EHS management systems and systematic EHS work, of safety legislation within the manufacturing field, as well as license conditions and environmental laws. As you are stationed in Västberga but operate in an international setting, you need to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. At our Production Unit (PU) Västberga, Stockholm, we manufacture cemented carbide inserts for Rock Tools. We are now looking for an EHS Manager to take responsibility for the EHS work in Västberga as well as for the global coordination of EHS work between our seven Supply units around the globe. Welcome to a key position, where you coordinate the EHS work together with other resources both locally and globally, and work in a technical environment with many varying challenges. Some travel is a natural part of this job. Your mission – Contribute to a safer workplace by increasing awareness and improving processes In your role as EHS Manager for PU Västberga, you are an active member of the management team, and work in close cooperation with the PU Manager, department managers and production personnel, you act to reduce risks and constantly improve our safety culture. You are responsible for the EHS management system and to facilitate the continuous development of our procedures with the objective of reaching zero harm. You also manage our hazard and incident reporting and contribute with your knowledge in internal projects and continuous improvement activities. You also ensure that the work is conducted in accordance with applicable laws, standards and overall goals for the business, and you participate in EHS audits and investigation of incidents. As EHS Manager in your global coordinating role, you are the spokesperson for Business Unit Rock Tools and Supply in our global EHS team, where you set, follow up on and support global EHS objectives and targets for Rock Tools. Another important part of this role is to plan and conduct EHS audits at our PUs. Following up on actions after incidents and supporting the organization in finding synergies to establish and implement best practices are also important parts of your job.
