QualificationsYou must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Analyze financial statements and performance of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and multifamily housing projects (20+ units), including maintaining accurate financial records and monitoring compliance with FHA requirements.; AND - Assess and manage risk related to financial condition, quality of care, and physical condition, including identifying and resolving problem or troubled properties and making recommendations to turnaround poor performance or non-compliance.; AND - Evaluate and implement regulations, policies, and procedures, recommending improvements to strengthen risk controls and enhance customer service.; AND - Coordinate and consult with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., HHS, state health agencies, mortgages, and FHA leadership) to monitor institutions and develop strategies for troubled cases.; AND - Conduct monitoring activities and site visits, including compliance reviews, action plan development, and recommending corrective actions such as sanctions, management changes, or workout agreements. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

As a/an Account Executive, you will: Assist in the planning of and/or participate in monitoring visits to customers to review compliance with FHA requirements, to assist and advise management in improving financial performance, and to observe the customer's operations firsthand. Identify and assist troubled customers or customers in danger of becoming troubled. Coordinate with the Department of Health and Human Services in dealing with customers that participate in both HUD and HHS (such as Hill-Burton) programs.RequirementsCandidates will be selected for a job assigned to one of the official duty stations listed in this announcement. Failure to report to duty at the location for which the candidate is selected may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal. Key Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. A probationary or trial period may be required. Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
