About this role
Experience and education • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or similar. • Experience from managing research and development projects. • Several years of practical experience from thin film process development and/or microelectronics processing. • Knowledge and experience within the fields of solar cells and in particular (CIGS) thin film solar cells are highly valued. Personal qualifications • Well-structured, organized and result oriented. Enjoys working in a team. • High level of responsibility and engagement with a strong drive to fulfill targets. • Enjoys interacting with people – internally within the company as well as externally towards partners. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably also Swedish. Knowledge in Mandarin is considered beneficial. • Experience from collaboration in international environments, in particular towards Chinese partners, is highly valued. Tasks and responsibilities • Manage internal research & development projects and sub-projects. • Manage joint projects with external collaborators, including externally funded projects. • Design, plan and perform experiments with focus on thin film process development for solar cells and modules. • Analyze and report results within R&D projects. Solibro develops, manufactures and sells solar panels and turnkey fabs for manufacturing of solar panels. The company´s R&D is performed by Solibro Research AB in Uppsala, which has 45 employees.
