Job SummaryThis position is located at Pershing Community Center, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. **This announcement is open and continuous; closing 08/17/2026 or till position is filled. QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Meet state/local age requirements (21) for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20-40 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and/or previous bartending experience. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons. **Your resume should be clear and specific. You will be rated based solely off of the information provided within your resume. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed ** In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred": Has six (6) months or more of bartender experience. **To meet Highly Preferred eligibility, you must meet all Minimum and Highly Preferred Qualifications, and this information must be clearly detailed on your resume.**

Major DutiesSets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Routine work performed without close supervision.Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Identifies intoxicated and unruly patrons, resolves the problem or seeks assistance.Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors. Stands for prolonged periods. Exposed to cuts and bruises. Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.Performs other duties as assigned.
