We are now looking for an inspiring and driven Program Manager for Sustainable Business. In this position, you report to Vice President Enterprise Program Office (E-PMO) and you work across the whole company with top management as key stakeholders. Our Enterprise Program Office (PMO) is a new function, created to provide an organizational home for the Sandvik Coromant strategy. Our mission is to convert the strategy into programs and projects, and to execute them. The location for this position is flexible within Europe, and global travel is a natural part of the job. Key performance areas As Program Manager, you are responsible for the two areas identified as strategic initiatives within Sustainable Business, Our Operations and Our Offer, where you are responsible for progress and success. You coordinate initiatives and support the organization in line work to secure progress in both operations and offer related to all areas we are working on which effects People, Planet and Profit. You ensure that we take on a holistic company approach for sustainability, and you take lead in securing that our strategy turns into plans and actions in alignment with the sustainable business governance model. With strong emphasis on both Our Operations and Our Offer, you actively drive the issue of minimizing waste and our impact on the environment. You influence and drive progress for Sandvik Coromant based on the insights from customers, market, benchmarks and internal view of the area. Furthermore, you set up processes for systematic measuring, scorecards, follow up and communication, and you ensure that regular reporting and progress reports are available and updated in real-time. Whilst a roadmap and vision is essential, your work driving progress is crucial to succeed. Your profile We are looking for someone with a university degree or a similar background, and a minimum of three years’ experience working within Program or Project Management in a global matrix organization. You have experience from leading and managing global, virtual teams and a good track record from delivering results and driving change. Previous experience from, or a sincere interest in, Sustainable Business development is also needed to succeed in this role. As we act on a global stage, you have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and additional language skills are beneficial. Your personal qualities fascinate us. You are a strategic person with a holistic view and the ability to act on both short and long-term objectives. Being an excellent networker with good understanding of stakeholder needs, you utilize your leadership skills to successfully motivate and develop others to reach success. You also display a high degree of integrity and handle confidential information professionally. As a Program Manager, you are comfortable with your leadership abilities and utilize your well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners at all levels.
