About this role
We are now looking for a Sourcing Leader for our New Product Introduction (NPI). You will be responsible for implementing product development sourcing practices that control in-place relationships and optimize supply base performance for new programs. You Act as a link between R&D, Product Development Team, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Sourcing during the product development cycle. As Sourcing Leader you are an integral member of the Global Sourcing Management team. Your profile Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent. Some years’ experience in sourcing or supply chain roles. Involvement in implementation of development processes and strategies. You are a good communicator, solutions orientated and work with an analytic mindset. Understanding in financial information, budgets and program performance. You have documented experience in Project Management and Lean. Experience with SAP is meritorious. Oral and written communication skills in English. You are used to communicate with all levels of internal management and Suppliers. You can address and negotiate change management and have the ability to influence key decision-makers. As a person you value good relationships. Oversee and participate in Development Process decision on all projects and ensure that the regional sourcing directors have reviewed and approved the sourcing positions. Coordinate early supplier involvement in technical and/or complex new products, parts and designs to optimize quality and meet project schedules. Develop and maintain business and standards for Sourcing processes. Managing and coordinating Regional reviews, to meet all subcontract requirements including financial obligations, technical and quality requirements. Manage administrative tasks including the coordination and support of resource allocation by each region, Global reporting of KPI’s for sourcing product development deliverables. Measure the effectiveness processes, lead Lean events where needed for improvements. We offer you A creative work environment with good possibilities to development in your profession.
