About this role
-A few years of relevant experience preferably in a similar role. -Higher education (MSc or BSc), preferably within mechanical, mechatronics engineering etc -A genuine interest in combustion engine technology, engine control systems, measurements and engine simulations. -Fluency in written and spoken English. We are looking for a curious and creative co-worker with a genuine interest in engines, you enjoy working hands-on as well as with theoretical projects. You are also enjoying the analytical aspects of the job as you are a driven and goal-focused person. - Test and analyze new engine concepts, theoretical and practical - Improve and refine existing engine concepts and products - Cooperate within the Husqvarna engine development sites in Sweden, US and Japan The team consist of 5 colleagues who are specialized in and have many years of experience within the area where they focus on evaluating and creating new concepts and patents for combustion engines. You will be located in Jonsered (Gothenburg) and report to Manager Primary Engine Research. Primary Engine Development is responsible of conducting both practical and theoretical studies in order to create innovative technology within the product development area at Husqvarna Group.
