Your character – Detail-oriented accountant with the business in mind We are looking for someone with a BSc in Accounting and a few years’ experience working with accounting or financial control. Your background includes working in an international environment and you have previous knowledge of IFRS from a larger company. Proficiency in analysis and reporting tools and data management is also needed in this position. We are now looking for a Financial Accountant to join us. Your mission - In this position, you are responsible for data entry and coding, ensuring that the accounting system, spreadsheets and databases are populated with the correct data and coded to the right accounts – so that bills can be paid and reports can be pulled. You always act in accordance with accounting principles, be it matching principle, revenue recognition or IFRS accounting. In addition to entering data into books and keeping records up to date and responsibility for original data entry, you are also responsible for tracking all income and expenses; paying bills, invoicing and tracking payroll; and for quality assurance of accounting records held. Managing accounts and handling month-, quarter- and year-end close are also important parts of your job. You also ensure that postings on financial statements are accurate, meaningful and timely, and you support Accounts Receivables and Credit Limits when needed.
