About this role
We believe the ideal candidate has: • 1-2 years of experience from freight forwarding, preferably from Air freight. • Great communication skills and handle challenges with proactivity. • A natural curiosity and thrive when solving problems and taking ownership. • Logistics industry knowledge. • Ability to prioritize and stay well organized. • A team player with a “can do” attitude. • Master English and Swedish on business level • A university degree within logistics or similar educational background within freight forwarding is an advantage. As an Airfreight forwarder at Damco you will be a part of a dynamic team with true growth ambitions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Damco’s offerings within the Air segment and this includes close cooperation with the product and sales team. Your primarily responsibilities will be to: • Handle daily contact with our customers and suppliers • Plan and perform daily operational activities mainly relating to import business • Help develop a continuous development mindset in both the way we work and the way we do business. • Customer visits with sales responsible. • Administrative tasks such as invoicing, quotation, etc. Damco is part of the AP Moller Maersk Group and one of the world’s leading providers of freight forwarding and supply chain management services.
