We are now looking for IMS Solution Support Engineer with a genuine interest in providing high quality technical support to our customers. Qualifications: Broad knowledge of the IMS solutions and of the inter-working between nodes Ability to troubleshoot solution level problems Platform competence such as CBA, TSP, IS, SIP, Virtualized Implementation, IP Switch/Router/Firewall. UNIX competence is a must (Solaris, Linux) Previous experience working with CSR and TR handling, as well as the tools (SMS, Metis, MHWeb…) used in the support and maintenance chain, is a plus Excellent team collaboration skills Excellent internal and external communications skills Team leading skills Strong customer understanding Accountability and ownership Ability to work under stress and pressure Ability to multi-task Strong analytical skills and ability to drive issues to resolution Open minded and flexible Fluent in English Relevant University degree in a technical area (MSc. or equivalent competence acquired through work experience) Since we support customers all around the globe, it is expected that you have a certain flexibility to travel. PDU Converged Core (PDU CC) is a Product Development Unit within Business Area Digital Services, responsible for the development of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) products and solutions. IMS is the new generation combined datacom and telecom core for fixed and mobile networks, including new multimedia services such as VoLTE and VoWifi, cost-efficient next generation voice, combinatorial services and much more. We are currently transforming our portfolio to component based architecture and virtualization. The Customer Deployment and Support unit within PDU CC has operations in Sweden, Canada, China and Hungary. We are responsible for second line customer support in live networks, and for securing the deployment of new software. Network system test and general product quality are also part of our responsibility areas. Responsibilities & Tasks: As a Solution Support Engineer you are expected to: Provide IMS technical support on solution level with focus on the inter-working between solution components. Troubleshoot Customer Support Requests (CSRs) reported by customers.
