CBG IT is looking for an IT Support Specialist (ISYT Team) CBG IT specializes in multilingual system solutions and processes with a strong focus on project management, research & development, and system support. It is currently undergoing an expansion that calls for the creation of new global teams that will be involved in a wide range of interesting projects. Therefore, we need to strengthen our team in Gothenburg with an IT Support Specialist role. Description of the post As an IT Support Specialist, you will be a part of the Information, Systems and Training Team, interacting with other team members around the world and working in multinational environment. You will report directly to the team leader located in Warsaw. You will have the opportunity to handle incoming support requests and solve them according to SLAs, perform integration and system testing prior to releases and assist with documentation. You will cooperate closely with issue reporters, developers, system managers and IT project managers. You will be expected to: Carry out tasks assigned by the team leader or issue delegator. Provide creative engineering solutions to new issues and situations in collaboration with senior members of the team. Provide operational technical expertise in the supported systems to the production department. Assist the production department with technical issues relating to CMS systems. Test and review developed processes related to the translation cycle process. Conduct training sessions for internal users regarding technical expertise. Participate in IT efforts as a member of functional teams working across the whole IT department with close co-ordination with R&D, System Managers and other support teams. Who are you? You are a service-minded team player who enjoys helping others and explaining technical solutions in a way that the end user can follow and understand. It is important that you are a self-motivated, structured and goal-focused IT professional with a genuine interest in all facets of IT and who thrives in a dynamic work environment. The following skills and merits are valued during the selection process: A bachelor's or master's degree in information system sciences or similar area of study or equivalent work experience, preferably with a focus on database administration / scripting. Experience with programming and testing. Excellent communication skills with a very good verbal and written command of English and Swedish. Genuine IT knowledge e.g. PowerShell, XML, DBA syntax, query expressions, software and hardware support. (Not all subjects need to be mastered). A problem-solver able to lead complex investigations into issues with varying levels of complexity.
