Kongsberg Automotive global manufacturing engineering team is now looking for a Design for Manufacturing/Design for Assembly Assurance (DFM/DFA) expert located in our facilities in Mullsjö, Sweden or Cluses, France. Job profile As DFM/DFA expert your responsibilities are, but not limited to: -Enhance information flow between R&D and manufacturing:?Coordination of information flow between ME experts, Knowledge owners and Quality towards R&D teams, -Collect R&D feedbacks and distribute information downstream to manufacturing floor level, -Development of relevant documents and process monitoring. -Assure that dimensional requirements are fulfilled by R&D deliverables. -Control that dimensional definitions are feasible for manufacturing. -Parts measurement coordination:?Minimize variation sensitivity through optimized Datum Reference Systems (locators), -Coordination of measurement protocol creations, -Measurement feasibility enhancement, -Performance monitoring. -Measurement equipment database across P&C. -Standards for new equipment preparation. -Investment plans and authorization requests presentation to M-STC. -Process standardization. -Continuous improvement of process monitoring (developing the document). -Identification and sharing of best practices. -ECN - approval of the engineering drawings from manufacturing side. Candidate Profile -MSc/BSc in Engineering or equivalent degree in a scientific field -A minimum of 5 years of experience within R&D & Engineering -Team player with a strong drive and a positive "can-do" attitude -Experience of working in projects with great personal responsibility -Ability to turn theory into practice -Used to work in a structure and independent way -Good communication (oral and written) in English A challenging position at an ambitious and skilled team with excellent career possibilities.
