Role Summary: The EHS Site Lead will demonstrate leadership in communicating business EHS goals, programs, processes on P&S projects. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short term and some long-term project goals. You will be working on different projects in the region, which means that you can expect a lot of travelling. This is a 2 year limited contract. Essential Responsibilities: Run own projects in EMEA as EHS Site lead Create and run training sessions for new site personnel Create and grow safety culture at assigned project Implement / modify EHS programs and procedures to ensure company compliance and customer expectations Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements Work with consultants and contractors on related EHS issues Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems Conduct and ensure effective EHS education programs are in place Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution Develop and work with site teams focused on EHS program development, implementation and improvement Measure progress toward successfully meeting corporate expectations Manage function-related costs across site Participate in EHS issue resolution The EHS Site Lead will work 100% on projects in EMEA Travel up to 100% Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent knowledge or experience Proven experience with exposure to several EHS areas in the field environment Great knowledge in local (swedish) EHS legislation Medical fitness and Basic Safety Trainings (GWO) for work at height Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 100% Fluency in English, excellent oral and written communication, presentation, training, and negotiation skills Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills Have a high energy level and the ability to energize others Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a diverse team Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside GE (regulatory agencies) EU Work Permit
