Salary: £36,513pa to £41,565pa inclusive, with potential to progress to £44,468pa inclusive of London Allowance
This is a fixed-term appointment for 18 months, with any extension subject to available funding.
The Department of Mathematics is a medium-sized department at the London School of Economics with renowned research strengths in mathematics related to the social sciences, substantial undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and providing a number of large service courses to the School.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly organised and proactive professional to join our friendly professional services team. This is a dynamic role combining communications, events management, and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the Department and an excellent experience for students and staff.
Candidates should have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to liaise professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders Confidence in using a range of digital platforms and tools for events and communications more broadly Experience of working successfully as part of a team and contributing to the effective team performance. Ability to learn new areas of knowledge and skills rapidly.
