OX2 Wind is continuing to expand and is looking for a Director of Strategy to join the Project Management & Transactions (PMT) team. The Director of Strategy will be an integral part of OX2’s PMT team and its operations from day one. The person is expected to add value already at the outset and be independently responsible for the work streams. The Director of Strategy has an overall task to improve OX2’s market position and make the company top-of-mind among stakeholders. We expect an ideal candidate to: Advise department heads and senior management on strategic initiatives Monitor progress of the firm and competition to ensure that strategic goals and benchmarks are met Identify and clarify business development needs and objectives In order to succeed in the role we expect you to have: +8 years’ experience of project management, preferably as a management consultant Well-documented experience of strategy and corporate finance Documented experience of projects within the Energy Sector or Power Generation such as Wind power or other renewables, Heat Power, gas/water turbines, Electrical grids etc. Documented experience within people management and development Relevant international network We are further looking for someone who has the following qualifications: Fluent in English both verbally and in writing Swedish is considered meriting Academic Background: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Finance and/or Economics, and/or MSc. in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Economics or Physics
