The role
As a content designer in the digital experience team, you’ll put users at the heart of our website and digital products. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the University such as our marketing and creative teams, to deliver written content that meets both user and business needs.
At Sheffield Hallam, content designers work to make things simpler and easier to use. Whether it's improving a single piece of content or shaping a whole area of our website, content designers help users get things done while supporting the university’s goals. This could involve creating or updating content for digital platforms, print, or both.
This is a pivotal moment in the digital experience team as we develop our ways of working in line with University values and objectives.
The team/The department
We’re looking for a content designer to join the Digital Experience team. You’ll be joining a friendly, motivated and creative team working to improve the user experience. You will collaborate with UX design and product professionals, digital operations, delivery developers and other stakeholders from student recruitment marketing, to directly deliver a better experience for users.
