Project leader to Development Function, Compliance Program To be successful in this role we believe you have a previous IKEA background with knowledge from different parts of the IKEA value chain. You have experience from being a project leader and you have proven record of successfully having implementing projects. Knowledge in the IKEA product development work cycle is beneficial. Furthermore you have former experience working with project management and you have a good sense of structure, working against deadlines and with close follow up. You have good communication skills, capability to build trust and to network. To create team spirit by involvement and to work through others will be key in this role. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. You have the ability to lead through other people but at the same time you are open to work on an operational level with administrative tasks. About the job As a project leader your responsibility is to lead and carry out the project and reach its result according to the project directive. You ensure that the organisation and working methods are suitable, documented and clear. You identify and introduce improvements and continuously report on the project status. This work is done by strong cooperation with others. The project leader will be reporting to the project manager and is based in Älmhult, Sweden. Key features of the role: -Be accountable for planning of the project towards the assignors as well as other stakeholders and partners; -Lead and secure that the project is carried out according to agreed working processes and time plans, and ensure that these are communicated to and understood by relevant stakeholders as well as the project team; -Be responsible for the business aspects of the projects, identify deviations and secure delivery within agreed frames; -Identify consequences of deviations from agreed project plan with regards to quality, time and cost, communicate consequences with relevant stakeholders and secure decisions needed to move forward; -Manage the project budget. IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.
