Job description CrossControl is in a very exciting growth phase and needs a Test/Software Engineer with passion for test and testing activities and who is interested in developing test processes internally and in cooperation with our customers. As a Software Test engineer, you are a driven employee with a couple of years of experience. You enjoy working in team and your primarily work will be test activities in customer development projects of applications software for display computers and controllers. We expect you to have good communication skills and are able to communicate directly with customers and collaborating with developers in our software teams. At CrossControl we are moving fast, we are a fast follower on new trends and technologies, and therefore it is important that you are curious and willing to broaden and sharpen your skills in new areas Location: Uppsala or Västerås. Competence and experience The person we’re looking for has: • Academic degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar. • Experience in Verification and Validation processes. • Experience of Test driven development. • Interest in Requirements processes. • Programming knowledge in C++ and C. • Experience from Smart Phone App and HMI development. • Effective communication skills in Swedish in native level, and English as fluent working skills. • Residence in Sweden • The position requires ability to work independently and in projects. In addition, it is qualifying if you have working experience from: • Programming skills in Qt/QML, IEC61131, C#, WPF, etc. • Linux knowledge • Embedded systems development and programming of microcontrollers. • Experience in projects that involves Functional Safety • Knowhow of hydraulics, pneumatics and electric engine control. Duties • Test, system verification and software application development for various systems by participate in application development from requirement analysis, implementation and drive the test and verification activates. • Developing the test processes in the company and in cooperation with customers. • Communicate with customers and other software teams.
