We are now looking for a Director of Seco Operations System and Digitalization – someone who wants to accelerate strategy implementation and enhance the performance of these two areas by being a major driver forward. In this position, you are located at one of our production sites and frequent presence in Fagersta is required. Since you are responsible for our global operations, frequent travel to other production sites is a natural part of your job. Your mission In this position, your main responsibilities are developing and executing the strategy for our operational excellence work and digital transformation journey. Collaboration and cross-functional work between different functions and regions are critical success factors, along with a “best for Seco” attitude. As speed, customer experience and effectiveness are critical attributes in achieving our mission, you secure local ownership of processes and results and you follow up and provide support whenever needed. Actively living and breathing the Seco leadership and employee model is a natural part of your daily work, and you develop efficient global networks, structured ways of working and effective processes that truly makes a difference. In this position, you are an innovative and digitally driven representative of our Operations Management team, reporting to the VP of Global Operations. Your profile We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or Business Administration and a solid professional background from Lean business systems and digital transformation work, ideally within the manufacturing sector. Experience from leading change - either from management positions or as a change consultant - is a prerequisite, and we highly value your ability to understand the potential of technology. As we act on a truly global stage, you have good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
