About this role
The QC Utility Testing Analyst is responsible for performing routine quality control testing on utility samples to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This role supports lab operations through accurate data collection, equipment calibration, and maintaining a clean, inspection‑ready environment, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality results.
What You’ll Do:
Perform routine QC testing of utility samples, including pH, conductivity, nitrate identification, TOC, and appearance assessmentsReceive, handle, label, and properly dispose of samples in accordance with proceduresCalibrate or verify calibration of laboratory instruments prior to useAccurately record data and escalate any out‑of‑specification or unusual resultsMaintain laboratory supplies and ensure workspaces remain clean, organized, and inspection‑readyProvide reliable and professional support to internal clients and QC team membersParticipate in required training programs and adhere to all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent hands‑on laboratory experienceAuthorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorshipStrong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately and consistentlyEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environmentComfortable learning new techniques, managing multiple priorities, and working in a moderately physical, lab‑based settingPreferred Qualifications
Experience working in a GMP, biopharmaceutical, or QC laboratory environmentFamiliarity with LIMS or other laboratory data management systems What to Expect in the Hiring Process:

The position is Full-Time, Sunday through Wednesday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Training will be Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselear, New York, are encouraged to apply.
