As Sales Specialist for High Voltage Breakers it is essential that you are a fast learner and a team player with independent and result oriented working style. You are structured and able to grasp the bigger picture. Moreover, you consider yourself to be a flexible and stress tolerant professional who is prepared to do the work needed to provide tenders on time and secure orders. Previous experience from leading and/or participating in small teams is advantageous. As a foundation, you hold a university degree in Engineering or Sales and have a good understanding of technology as well as a general knowledge of our products. You are expected to have multiple years of experience within technical sales. Previous experience from High Voltage Breakers, FACTS, Substations, power generation, power transmission etc., is highly meritorious. As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish and other languages is considered a plus. As Sales Specialist, your main mission will be internal sales support within ABB for High Voltage Breakers applications. Your area will cover mainly AC and series compensation applications. You will be managing one or more internal sales accounts, forecasting, receiving request for quotations, preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, as well as preparing full cost models and quotations. As you will be serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area, we expect you to have a good understanding of technology and engineering. Your work tasks will also include continuous improvements within your area of responsibility and occasional business travel. You will be part of High Voltage Breakers, a business unit within the High Voltage Products division in Ludvika. High Voltage Breakers has a worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage breakers for power systems. New products are developed and tested in our high voltage laboratory and the markets are found both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. The high voltage breaker is an essential part of a reliable and energy efficient power system.
