About this role

Required skills • Ideally a University Degree, preferably related to food • Sales experience / knowledge within the food and / or feed- industry • Preferable expertise in food additives and technical ingredients • Ideally, a proven sales record and experience of managing accounts successfully • Good knowledge in food processes and production in order to give excellent support your clients • Ideally, good understanding of food additives and technical ingredients • Language skills – Swedish and English are essential • Full clean driving license and availability to travel up to 50% of your time Personal competences • Strong personal drive, self-disciplined and highly motivated for the role • Business acumen • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken • Good organisational and time management skills • Results driven with a “can-do-attitude” Due to expansion we are now looking to recruit an additional Technical Sales Manager to join the team in Sweden. The aim of this position will be to build sustainable and productive customer relationships with existing and new clients, with a focus on sales of technical food ingredients. You will work in close cooperation with the Nordic team and other partners and report directly to the Business Unit Manager. This role can be home-based but ideally you live within proximity to the office in Malmö. Main responsibilities • Maintain and expand business in the Swedish and Nordic food industry • Build sustainable and productive long-term customer relationships as well as developing existing ones • Work closely with colleagues from the research, product management and technical sales departments, as well as the principals, in order to successfully create business opportunities • Actively ensure that the products meet client’s requirements / expectations and provide support on product development and other technical issues • Ensure company goals are achieved and be responsibility for customer proposals and contracts • Visit existing and new customers on a regular basis IMCD is a global leader in the sales, marketing and distribution of speciality chemicals and food ingredients.
