To support our future success, we are looking for a HR Business Partner (HRBP)/HR Generalist for SMS Common functions – a versatile and unique role, where you get to use your skills for both strategically setting the direction for the future, as well as for guiding managers and employees to success in their daily tasks. Joining our HR team, you will be part of an interesting, inspiring and challenging journey that requires your true commitment to contribute to further development of the organization, and in addition, you take responsibility for our local HR delivery and coordinate shared HR services provided by SMS on a global scale. This position is based in Sandviken and some travel is part in the job. Your mission – To strategically steer our organization and provide hands-on business advice In this position, you have a dual mission as you work both strategically and operationally. In your more strategic role, you take an active part in setting the strategic agenda for the common functions, and with your genuine interest in understanding the business, you develop and implement an HR strategy in line with the identified business needs. You take an active role in both driving and supporting the organization in change processes, and you take responsibility for managing, supporting and ensuring follow-through of core HR policies and processes; such as Talent & Succession Management, Performance Management, Diversity & Inclusion and Resourcing. In the more operational part of your role, you use your expertise to guide co-workers by proving hands-on business advice. To raise understanding in people management and HR related topics, you coach your local line managers, and as you support managers and participate in union negotiations, you ensure compliance with Swedish labor legislations. Furthermore, you act as contact person for employees regarding contract, legal questions and individual development; making building relationships – and trust – one of your prioritized tasks, which you are expected to do by working closely with the organization and through accessibility, professionalism and responsiveness. Your character – A flexible multi-tasker with true dedication for HR We are looking for someone with a degree in preferably HR, or equivalent knowledge gained through working experience. Your background includes working with various HR business assignments, and at least some of these, in a global context. You also have good knowledge of the Swedish labor legislation. We value that you have the ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and if you have experience of change management we consider it a plus.
